Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Patriots vs. El Dorado Christian Buffalos
The Clinton Christian Academy Patriots lost against the El Dorado Christian Buffalos back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Clinton Christian Academy fell to El Dorado Christian 48-42. While losing is never fun, Clinton Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while El Dorado Christian is ranked 212th).
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Parker Lowe, who scored ten points along with two steals. Lowe hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Kade Manning was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Clinton Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for El Dorado Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton Christian Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for El Dorado Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Christian Learning Center at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
