Basketball Recap: Christopher Takes a Loss

If Christopher was riding high fresh off their 74-49 takedown of Carmel last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitney Wildcats on Thursday. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Whitney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christopher will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leland at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Whitney, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Thunder have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
