Baseball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 16-4 takedown of McCallum last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Grizzlies lost 9-1 to the Rouse Raiders on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Glenn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Rickmers, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Those hits were Rickmers' first of the season.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rouse, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3-2.

While Glenn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
