Soccer Recap: St. Peter Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Peter and Mankato West meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Sunday. The Saints fell just short of the Scarlets by a score of 4-3. St. Peter were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mankato West apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Mankato West, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-11.

While St. Peter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
