Volleyball Recap: Watersmeet Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Watersmeet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Dollar Bay Bays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-12.

Dollar Bay found their leader in sophomore Kiya Kemppainen, who had eight digs and two aces.

Watersmeet's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Dollar Bay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Watersmeet and Chassell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dollar Bay, they will face off against Bessemer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
