Volleyball Game Preview: Salmon River Savages vs. Council Lumberjacks + How To Watch

The Salmon River Savages are taking a road trip to face off against the Council Lumberjacks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Salmon River got the win against Tri-Valley by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Salmon River's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Council made easy work of Garden Valley on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Council not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Garden Valley between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Salmon River's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Council, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Everything went Salmon River's way against Council in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Salmon River made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Savages since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
