Softball Recap: Bonham Beats Paris for Their Fifth Straight Win

Bonham waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Paris Wildcats 21-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2020.

Haley Capehart was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted over her last 12 games. Another player making a difference was Alayna Laisy, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Bonham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bonham now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Paris, their loss was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Bonham will take on Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
