Basketball Game Preview: Hartford Central Tanagers vs. Granville Golden Horde

Having just played yesterday, the Hartford Central Tanagers will get right back to it and host the Granville Golden Horde at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Hartford Central's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Granville has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Hartford Central didn't have too much trouble with North Warren Central as they won 53-39. The Tanagers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Granville came up short against Warrensburg on Saturday and fell 42-35. While the Golden Horde didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Burgers 16-8 in the first quarter.

Hartford Central's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Granville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything came up roses for Hartford Central against Granville in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 91-43 victory. In that match, Hartford Central amassed a halftime lead of 55-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
