Basketball Game Preview: Prairie View Buffalos vs. Wellsville Eagles

Prairie View hasn't had much luck against Wellsville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Prairie View Buffalos will host the Wellsville Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Prairie View will head into Tuesday's matchup out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against Burlington, falling 100-26. While losing is never fun, the Buffalos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Wildcats are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, Wellsville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 69-64 to Bishop Seabury Academy. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Prairie View, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
