Basketball Recap: Lisbon Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

It was a proper cat-fight when Lisbon challenged Tipton on Saturday. The Lisbon Lions enjoyed a cozy 75-58 victory over the Tipton Tigers. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered an 89-77 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lisbon pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Lisbon will venture away from home to square off against Prince of Peace Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Prince of Peace Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Tipton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully West Branch likes a good challenge.
