Volleyball Game Preview: Kingston Cougars vs. West County Bulldogs

Kingston hasn't had much luck against West County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Kingston came up short against Bismarck on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Kingston was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bismarck's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-10.

Meanwhile, West County lost 3-0 to Valle Catholic on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-7.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for West County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Kingston couldn't quite get it done against West County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
