Recap: Green Bobcats vs. Glenwood Tigers
The Green Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to Glenwood. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Green of the 55-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyreke Lewis, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Lewis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Allard, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Green has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which is still a better percentage than their 4-14 record this season. As for Glenwood, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10.
Green will look to defend their home court on Friday against Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Notre Dame's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Glenwood, they will head out on the road to square off against East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
