Clarkson/Leigh won the last time they faced Archangels Catholic and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Defenders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Clarkson/Leigh walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Maizie Stoklasa paced Clarkson/Leigh's offense, picking up 17 kills. Stoklasa got some help from Kendall Schneider and her 36 assists. Finally, Stoklasa was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Clarkson/Leigh's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Archangels Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Clarkson/Leigh and Oakland-Craig will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Archangels Catholic, they will challenge Palmer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
