Volleyball Recap: Myrtle Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Myrtle and Pine Grove had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Myrtle's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Pine Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6-2.

Coming up, Myrtle will challenge East Union at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pine Grove, they will face off against Corinth at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
