Volleyball Game Preview: Delano Tigers vs. Taft Wildcats

The Delano Tigers will take on the Taft Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Delano turned things around against McFarland on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Taft not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Wasco as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Taft never let Wasco on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 25-19.

Delano's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 11-10. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 8-17.
