Basketball Game Preview: North Forney Falcons vs. Rockwall-Heath Hawks

North Forney and Rockwall-Heath are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the North Forney Falcons face off against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

North Forney is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Tyler Legacy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Raiders are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Rockwall-Heath came up short against Tyler Legacy on Tuesday, falling 51-29.

Rockwall-Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for North Forney, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Things could have been worse for North Forney, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-48 loss to Rockwall-Heath in their previous meeting back in February. Can North Forney avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
