Basketball Recap: Stringtown's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Stringtown had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Maud Tigers 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Stringtown has posted since January 29, 2024.

Stringtown's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Maud, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Stringtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-42 defeat against Roff on the 25th. As for Maud, they will face off against Stonewall at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Stonewall will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Maud surely won't give up without a fight.
