Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand Haven). They enjoyed a cozy 78-61 victory over the Christian Eagles on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Buccaneers with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Grand Haven and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.

Grand Haven will be home for the holidays to greet Spring Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Grand Haven's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Christian will take on Kalamazoo Central in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Kalamazoo Central likes a good challenge.
