Ira extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 5-2. Everything went their way against the Westbrook Wildcats as they made off with a 56-34 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

As for Westbrook, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ayden Yanas, who picked up 46 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 64 yards on only nine carries. Shawn Salazar was another key back, rushing for 39 yards and three TDs.
