Basketball Recap: Mandarin Finds Playoff Glory Versus First Coast

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mandarin had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the First Coast Buccaneers as they made off with a 55-33 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was another big night for Reese Holman, who posted 20 points and three steals. Efredia Wesee was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Mandarin back to even at 10-10. As for First Coast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Mandarin has already played their next contest (against Oakleaf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. First Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
