The Wheat Ridge Farmers are taking a road trip to take on the Evergreen Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wheat Ridge will be strutting in after a win while Evergreen will be coming in after a defeat.

Wheat Ridge took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 29-20 victory over Skyview. The Farmers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Wheat Ridge's win came down to the chemistry between Jyles Ballenger and his top target Isaiah Osei. Ballenger rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only six carries while Osei gained 157 total yards. The dominant performance also gave Ballenger a new career-high in passing yards (105).
