Basketball Game Preview: Springtown Porcupines vs. Bridgeport Bulls

Springtown and Bridgeport are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Springtown Porcupines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bridgeport Bulls at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Springtown: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Bridgeport has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Springtown turned things around against Lake Worth on Tuesday. They snuck past the Bullfrogs with a 51-45 win.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport suffered their biggest defeat since December 3rd on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Eagle Mountain an easy 72-50 victory.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Springtown, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11.

Everything came up roses for Springtown against Bridgeport in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 75-40 victory. Will Springtown repeat their success, or does Bridgeport have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
