            The Wakefield Wolverines will take on the Rolesville Rams at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The timing is sure in Wakefield's favor as the  team sits on six straight wins at home while Rolesville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Wakefield is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Panther Creek on Wednesday as Wakefield made off with  a  15-4 victory. With that  win, the Wolverines brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.

 Blake Waltman looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts.
 At the plate, Wakefield let  Eli Gross and  Mikey Katz run wild. Gross  went 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI, while  Katz  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That  triple was  Gross' first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Luke Blackburn, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Wakefield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .618. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Rolesville came up short against Wakefield on Tuesday and fell  6-2.
