Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic and Coral Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Atlantic had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts.

Among those leading the charge was Jayden Thomas, who had 19 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mickinson Jean-Mary, who had five digs and four blocks.

Atlantic has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Coral Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

As of now, neither Atlantic nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
