Baseball Recap: Schurr Spartans vs. Bell Gardens Lancers
Schurr let Bell Gardens stack six runs on them in the seventh inning on Friday but luckily Schurr prevailed anyway. The Spartans walked away with a 10-6 win over the Lancers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Sonny Aleman made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Aleman was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
