Melrose-Mindoro is 9-1 against Whitehall since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:15 p.m.

Melrose-Mindoro came up short against Cochrane-Fountain City two weeks ago, falling 52-31. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Whitehall posted their biggest win since February 15th last Friday. They blew past Osseo-Fairchild 61-41. Given the Norse's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Thunder are ranked 446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitehall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Melrose-Mindoro, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Melrose-Mindoro came up short against Whitehall in their previous matchup back in February, falling 72-60. Can Melrose-Mindoro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
