Burges won the last time they faced Harmony Science Academy and Anthony Rubio did his part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over Harmony Science Academy on Friday for which the team can thank Rubio, who posted 14 points and five steals. He is becoming a predictor of Burges' success: when he posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when he doesn't).

Another player making a difference was Hayden Cordova, who had three points. Cordova is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Burges' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Harmony Science Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Burges has already played their next matchup, a 49-37 victory against Ysleta on the 12th. As for Harmony Science Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
