Basketball Recap: Colorado Comes Up Short

Colorado's tournament run continued when they took on Newcastle on Saturday. The Colorado Wolves had to suffer through a 67-39 loss at the hands of the Newcastle Bobcats. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Colorado lost, don't look at Nate Wooddell. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aidan Casares, who earned six points and eight rebounds.

Colorado's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Newcastle, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Colorado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-45 loss against Coleman on the 31st. As for Newcastle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-24 defeat against Pantego Christian on the 28th.
