Football Game Preview: Mount Pleasant Tigers vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack + How To Watch

The Mount Pleasant Tigers will square off against the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mount Pleasant has three straight victories, Parkwood has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mount Pleasant challenged Anson on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 26-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Bearcats are ranked 277th).

Meanwhile, Parkwood played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Monroe 40-7. The Wolf Pack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Mount Pleasant will have to contain Amarri Lytle as he made an impact in Parkwood's last game. He rushed for 127 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.

Parkwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anwar Bit and Smith Barlowe.

Mount Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Parkwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
