Basketball Recap: Owen County Takes a Loss

Owen County lost against Conner back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Owen County Rebels fell to the Conner Cougars 50-44. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Conner, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owen County will venture away from home to face off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conner, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
