Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bruton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 71-58 to the Greensville County Eagles on Thursday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Randall, who posted 15 points. Brandon Freeman was another key player, putting up nine points along with five assists and four steals.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Greensville County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Bruton nor Greensville County have any future games scheduled.
