Softball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland and Henry-Senachwine squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Midland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mallards by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Timberwolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Midland dropped their record down to 15-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Henry-Senachwine, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Midland nor Henry-Senachwine have any future games scheduled.
