Volleyball Recap: Seaholm/Groves' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

The Seaholm/Groves Maples came up short against the Marian Mustangs on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Leading Marian to victory were Ashlyn Pelon and Allie Davison. Pelon had five digs and two aces, while Davison had 16 assists and three aces. Davison is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 23 games she's played.

Seaholm/Groves' loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12-4. As for Marian, they pushed their record up to 35-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Seaholm/Groves and Marian will both be playing Brighton the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Maples will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
