The Christian Community Warriors won the last time they faced the Open Door Christian Patriots, and things went their way on Thursday too. Christian Community slipped by Open Door Christian 28-27.

Christian Community was led to victory by Lily Babet and Sarah Solak. Babet scored three points along with three steals, while Solak scored 13 points along with six steals. Solak has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Christian Community's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for Open Door Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Christian Community will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on HEARTS for Jesus Christ at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Open Door Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Our Lady of the Elms at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Our Lady of the Elms focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Thursday.
