Recap: Bay Tornadoes vs. Arnold Marlins
Even though the Arnold Marlins scored an imposing 65 points on Saturday, the Bay Tornadoes still came out on top. Bay walked away with a 77-65 victory over Arnold. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bay.
Arnold's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Finn Lewis, who scored 23 points. Drew Moseley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten assists.
Bay now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Arnold, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay and South Walton will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Arnold, they will head out on the road to square off against Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Mosley's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Arnold has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
