Soccer Recap: Archbishop McNicholas Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Archbishop McNicholas was not quite La Salle's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. Archbishop McNicholas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as La Salle apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Archbishop McNicholas is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6-2. As for La Salle, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 2-10-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop McNicholas will take on Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Salle, they will welcome Archbishop Moeller at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Archbishop Moeller's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
