After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aberdeen, Salmon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Stevensville Yellowjackets by a score of 26-15. The Savages' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pason Phillips threw for 54 yards and one TD. Clayton Allen was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Maddox Thimons rushed for 231 yards and three scores while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.

Salmon's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Stevensville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Salmon and Stevensville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. The Savages (ranked 87th) will meet North Fremont (ranked 30th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stevensville will take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (67 vs. 18).
