Baseball Recap: Killeen Comes Up Short

Killeen lost against Burnet back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Killeen Kangaroos lost 15-3 to the Burnet Bulldogs. The Kangaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aj Lemaire was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Killeen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Burnet, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Killeen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 16-1 loss against Lake Travis on the 6th. Burnet has also already played their next contest (against Maypearl), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
