Volleyball Recap: Templeton Comes Up Short

Templeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the San Luis Obispo Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Gabriela Barroso paced Templeton's offense, picking up seven kills. Barroso got some help from Bradee Breckenridge and her ten assists.

Templeton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for San Luis Obispo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

Templeton will head out on the road to challenge Paso Robles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Luis Obispo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
