Sheridan was the 35-12 winner over North Miami when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sheridan Blackhawks took a 27-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Miami Warriors on Friday.

North Miami got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Meredith out in front who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 68 receiving yards and a touchdown. Meredith got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 64 yards. Another player making a difference was Hartley Hoover, who rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.
Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Miami, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
