Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Zion vs. Mahomet-Seymour

Mt. Zion hasn't had much luck against Mahomet-Seymour recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Braves will host the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Mt. Zion has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mt. Zion is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Glenwood on Thursday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Mahomet-Seymour had just enough and edged out Champaign Central 3-2 on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs hit the Maroons with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Erika Johnson, Paislee Welge, and Gwen Cambron.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.
