For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Aletheia Christian Academy has suffered against Central Christian since February 12, 2021.
Aletheia Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Dickson, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Jude Burke was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Central Christian found their leader in underclassman Jarrod Harmon, who scored 22 points along with five steals and two blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Harmon has scored at least a third of Central Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Gabe Gregory, who scored 14 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Aletheia Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Central Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.
Aletheia Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Atmore Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atmore Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Central Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Full Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Full Life Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
