Basketball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short

Lewis County lost against Hickman County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The game between the Lewis County Panthers and the Hickman County Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Lewis County Panthers falling 65-47. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Lewis County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hickman County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis County will face off against Battle Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County is facing Battle Creek at the right time seeing as Battle Creek is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Hickman County, they will square off against East Hickman County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hickman County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
