After a string of three wins, Twinsburg's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lutheran West Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Longhorns are ranked 23rd).

Twinsburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lutheran West, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twinsburg will challenge Stow-Munroe Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Stow-Munroe Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Lutheran West, they will take on St. Ignatius at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
