Volleyball Recap: Axtell Falls to Rio Vista in First Game of Season

Axtell kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Rio Vista Eagles, falling 3-0.

While Axtell was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Rio Vista's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

The victory got Rio Vista back to even at 1-1.

Axtell has already played their next matchup (against Abbott), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rio Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Evant on the 14th.
