Softball Recap: Edon Gets the Win

Edon's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the North Central Eagles by a score of 6-3. The win continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Alexis Breier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, Madison Ogden was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Aldrich, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Edon's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for North Central, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Edon will venture away from home to face off against Hilltop at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
