Soccer Recap: NCSSM: Durham Comes Up Short

NCSSM: Durham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Falls Lake Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Falls Lake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Monday.

NCSSM: Durham's goal came courtesy of Atha Brantley, who's now up to eight this season.

NCSSM: Durham's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Falls Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

NCSSM: Durham has already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Research Triangle on the 26th. As for Falls Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Franklin Academy on the 31st.
