Football Game Preview: Rickards Raiders vs. Lincoln Trojans + How To Watch

The Rickards Raiders will face off against the Lincoln Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rickards, who comes in off a win.

Rickards took a loss when they played away from home on October 10th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 30-19 victory over Arnold.

Karlise Price was his usual excellent self, rushing for 191 yards and four scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Rickards' run defense was locked in: Arnold could only muster three yards per carry. The Raiders didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.7.

Meanwhile, Lincoln entered their contest against Godby on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Trojans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 30-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since October 18, 2024.

Rickards will have to contain Tadarius Huggins as he made an impact in Lincoln's last game. He rushed for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Will Tawney, who gained 105 total yards and a touchdown.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Rickards, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Rickards was taken down by Lincoln 48-9 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Raiders, Christian Sims Jr. (who rushed for 87 yards and two TDs on only nine carries, and also threw for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
