Softball Game Preview: Berkshire Badgers vs. Crestwood Red Devils

The Berkshire Badgers are taking a road trip to take on the Crestwood Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Berkshire lost 13-3 to Geneva on Tuesday.

Crestwood couldn't beat Kenston on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Red Devils came up short against the Bombers, falling 14-4. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayleigh Helm was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.

Berkshire's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Crestwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Berkshire took their win against Crestwood in their previous matchup on April 7th by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Badgers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
