Baseball Recap: Serrano Comes Up Short

The Serrano Diamondbacks lost 14-4 to the Lancaster Eagles on Monday. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bryce Thurber made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Serrano now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lancaster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Serrano didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-2 victory against Arroyo Valley on the 3rd. As for Lancaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Rialto on the 4th.
